“ Great place to enjoy your evening with well crafted cocktails, the jazz band is playing at 9pm. If you want to sit at a table, make sure to make reservation ahead of time, otherwise you can grab a seat at the bar if youre lucky. ”

“ 1980s club reborn in original location. Food phenomenal. Great bartenders particulary Andrew knows his stuff. Cool take on Caesar salad. Great vibes. Entering in the rotation. ”
“ I really like this place. Cool drink menu, absolutely delicious food menu, and really good live music. Theres a jazz getup who play here from time to time and they kill it. The venue is pretty small and the prices are kinda high, but for a shmuck like me, its a welcome change of scenery from my usual restaurant rotation. ”
“ If youre craving the vibrant energy of New Orleans with a touch of Spanish flair, this spot is a mustvisit, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. The live jazz music sets the perfect mood for an evening of tapasstyle dining. Every dish we tried was exceptional, bursting with flavor and creativity. While the wine selection could benefit from a few more quality whites, the overall experience more than makes up for it. Highly recommended for a lively, memorable night out! ”
“ Bacari Tabu is an unexpectedly delightful venue with tasty food items, a wonderfully bespoke cocktail menu, and a pleasant atmosphere to the tune of live music most of the week, with jazz on Fridays and Saturdays. Andrew is a topnotch bartender and conversationalist. He and his fellow mixologist, Mario not pictured do a great job of attending to patrons. Mario has done an amazing job at crafting a wonderful cocktail menu and can make almost any drink just by telling him vague ingredients and a desired taste and gets it exactly right. ”
“ We moved to a small town in Northeast Wisconsin 12 years ago. Being a native of Dallas, I started listening to jazz in the early seventies where the local music scene couldnt be beat for any genre. Dallas had Strictly Tabu closed in 97, the Recovery Room, The Mayors House, and Popsicle Toes, all spots that provided a great night for music and cocktails. Which are now long ago memories of what was great about Dallas. The reincarnation of Tabu which is now Bacari Tabu has done a nice job of bringing back a nice music venue that provides you a great night out with cocktails, great service Annette was our server and a comfy environment to listen to skilled musicians that entertain you with a style that doesnt get enough recognition in todays electronic world of music. Before I forget, the complementary fried olives are a nice treat that I hope they keep. ”
“ We recently came for a long awaited visit to celebrate my moms birthday. My parents used to frequent Strictly Tabu which this restaurant is based after back in the day and we couldnt wait to come check out the new spot. Amazing atmosphere and Marisol provided us with great service! Everything we tried was delicious. For tapas, we had the Endive Caesar, Gnocchi alla Romana, and the Rissoto which is their specialty dish. For pizzas, we had the roasted broccolini pizza which was great! We had the cannoli for dessert which was good as well! I strongly recommend getting at least 1 pizza if theres 2 people as its the best value for your money, since all of the other dishes are tapas small servings ranging from 1640 a piece. The fried olives they put out before your meal were super delicious as well! The live music was great and we enjoyed our time but are disappointed they do not plan to have live jazz like Strictly Tabu did, as that was our sole reason for coming. Would definitely return in the future for a light bite and cocktail before dinner. The music doesnt start until around 8, so its better to make a later reservation than an earlier one if youre going for the music! ”
